Painted pine dresser

A lovely characterful vintage pine dresser, painted in a soft, weathered grey finish that allows plenty of the natural character of the timber to show through.

The dresser is made in two sections, with the open shelving top simply lifting off the base, making it much easier to transport and move into position.

The upper section features three generous open shelves, with a lovely shaped cornice and traditional panelled back. The lower section has two useful drawers with simple wooden knobs, sitting above a large open area and a slatted wooden shelf beneath. The turned legs and aged painted finish add plenty of country charm.

I particularly love the combination of the practical storage and the open shelving — it would work beautifully in a kitchen, dining room, utility room, hallway or bedroom, and would be equally useful for displaying crockery, books, linens or favourite vintage finds.

The painted finish has a lovely aged and slightly rustic appearance, with natural variation and signs of wear that add to its character.
