I’m Sarah, the founder of Gorge Home — a small, independent business shaped by a lifetime of being surrounded by beautiful, characterful things. I grew up helping in my family’s antique and book shops, spending my days around objects with stories, texture, and quiet charm. Those early years taught me to appreciate craftsmanship, patina, and the feeling that certain pieces bring into a space.
Buying and selling came naturally long before it became a business. I was the one who loved rearranging displays, exploring markets, and noticing the details others might overlook. That instinct — to choose pieces that bring warmth, personality, and a sense of home — is what guides everything I do today.
In 2019, I started Gorge Home as a way to share that lifelong passion. What began as a small idea has grown into a curated collection of interior pieces and garden finds chosen for their individuality and the atmosphere they create. Whether it’s a beautifully worn bowl, a handmade object, or something with sculptural simplicity, I choose items that speak to me — pieces with soul, character, and a story behind them.
You can explore my ever‑changing collection at The Malthouse Collective in Stroud and Ironbridge Antiques Centre in Dale End Village, where I personally curate and style my displays. I also update the online shop regularly with new finds, each one selected with the same care and instinct that has shaped my life in this trade.
As a sole trader, I handle every part of the process myself — sourcing, photographing, wrapping, and sending each order. I want the experience to feel personal and thoughtful from start to finish, which is why I offer free UK mainland delivery on orders £50 & over. Orders below £50 are charged at £4.95. Worldwide shipping available on request.
Gorge Home is more than a business to me. It’s a continuation of my family’s story, a reflection of my own journey, and a celebration of pieces that make a home feel lived‑in, loved, and uniquely yours. I hope you find something here that speaks to you.
